Function in the Ministry:
The Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Manager supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope, under the leadership of the Director of Program Quality, with coordinating and managing the monitoring and evaluation processes of organizational plans and/or projects within the framework of the strategy and vision, policies, organizational values and organizational approaches to measure the impact of the programs implemented in the different coverage areas and provide relevant information for strategic decision making in the programmatic management of Convoy of Hope in Latin America.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Support the DPQ and the regional leadership from Latin America by collaboratively coordinating, managing, and implementing MEL functions throughout the Latin America region.
2.Coordinates with and supports Field Operations Directors (FOD) and National Directors (ND) on MEL topics.
3.Track, manage, verify, and document MEL reporting in the Latin America region.
4. Assist field staff with quarterly reporting by collecting, managing, and communicating regional data on a quarterly basis.
5. Maintain and administer the MEL database; analyze and aggregate findings. This includes the use of statistical methods and qualitative analysis to interpret data and generate conclusions to help the regional leadership & Global Program Quality (GPQ) stay updated of the program's implementation impact.
6. Support program reporting, mid-term review, and final evaluation.
7.Provide regular reporting on MEL topics to the DPQ, Regional Leadership and the Global Program Leadership Team, as necessary.
8.Provide support to field offices on strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing MEL and performance monitoring plans.
9.Develop and refine data collection tools and support to strengthen the MEL capacities of the national MEL coordinators and partners.
Required, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1.Bachelor’s degree in an M&E related field or equivalent experience, required. Advanced certificate in M&E, statistics, or economics related field preferred.
2.At least 3 years of experience in an M&E position is required.
3.Fluency in Spanish and English, required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish) necessary for driving regional correspondence and documentation.
4.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of an integrated, global team.
5.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
6.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop processes and systems.
7. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
8. Previous experience working for or assisting NGOs preferred.
9.Ability to use Mac/PC software programs, including but not limited to Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Zoom proficiently. Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
10.Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, required.
11.Significant cross-cultural understanding and awareness is required to handle sensitive issues and maintain vital relationships.
12.Ability to positively represent the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
13.Be an active member of a local Christian church.
