Descripción:Keiser University Latin American Campus is perhaps the only U.S. regionally accredited institution of higher education granting degrees in Nicaragua and most of the region.
Receiving students from all over Central America and the United States, Keiser University Latin American Campus occupies the building where the famous Normal de Señoritas Salvadora de Somoza was located. This was an institution that educated young girls to become elementary school teachers. It was also the host of students from all over the country and Central America.
The campus encompasses approximately 17 acres and includes more than 20 classrooms, administrative and dormitory buildings. The residential campus operates on the American academic calendar and offers most instruction in English via face-to-face and online delivery. The campus also operates important Language Institutes in San Marcos and Managua.
Since the transition of the Latin American Campus to Keiser University in July 2013, the institution has worked to improve the campus’ infrastructure and information technology. The campus has also added programs in Interdisciplinary Studies and Management Information Systems, as well as several undergraduate, masters, and doctoral online programs to its academic offer.
