The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the main responsible of maintaining a full pipeline of people who fulfill the requirements for existing job offers, is also responsible to create sources and opportunities to fulfill the existing jobs requests in the company, same as making sure the candidates comply with the profile requested through a screening process. A talent acquisition specialist works in the Human Resources field and assists in the proper staffing of an organization in an environment that encourages quick thinking, aggressive sourcing skills and a proactive approach towards talent acquisition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment:
- Source potential candidates through online channels and live/onsite job fairs (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
- Review the candidate’s testings scheduled by the Sourcing Specialist.
- Verify the passing scores and schedule this person for final
- Interview candidates to verify if they possess the qualifications wanted by the account and match the established profile.
- Arrange approved candidates’ final interview with the account manager.
- Arrange approved candidates’ final interview with Client.
- Send job offer letters to confirm positions with candidates and starting dates as well.
- Maintain a pool of applicants ready for final interviews with clients for all accounts.
- Keeping the interview tracker updated.
- Send the recruitment follow up table to all accounts when hiring (During the process)
- Keep track of all the requisitions on paper and e-folder.
- Provide feedback to candidates who do not pass the interview process.
- Send all candidates a thank you for applying by email.
- Collect all the documentation when a candidate is selected for a position
- Send new hire form every payroll for this to be included for payment.
- Interact appropriately with clients to request feedback
- Generate calibrations meeting when required.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting weekly and monthly goals.
- Develop candidate pipelines that meet staffing needs while building a reputation for solid, competent, and qualified placements.
- Maintain all supporting records and data, including applicant flow statistics for Recruitment reporting.
- Process Employees’ requests and provide relevant information.
- Collaborate with the Senior HR or Recruiter to post job ads on career pages or social media.
- Process incoming resumes.
- Manage the department’s telephone center and address queries accordingly.
- Prepare reports and presentations for sourcing efforts.
- Handle the bulk of resume screening and make initial contact with candidates.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
Human Resources:
- Foster lasting relationships with past and potential candidates.
- Knowledge and application of the OSI NICARAGUA Internal Regulations.
- Celebrate employees’ birthdays each month.
- Resignations and terminations.
- Update the database of active and inactive employees.
- Sick leave and absences.
- Nicaragua vacations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role 1-year minimum (Desirable).
- Studies related to Psychology or any business-related field (Desirable).
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
- Knowledge of all components of full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, and relationship management.
- Desirable experience working for the human resources dept.
- Demonstrate ability to source and attract highly qualified individuals through cold calling, advertising, networking, and referrals.
- Customer Service and technical skills or experience.
- Strong management of MS Office packages and emails, recruiting software (ATS),
