We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee the full HR function for our operations in the manufacturing industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of labor legislation and ISO management systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving organizational effectiveness and employee engagement while ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
- Provide strategic HR support to plant leadership and align human capital strategies with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and ISO standards.
- Design and implement training and development programs to support employee growth.
- Analyze workforce data and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Promote a positive organizational culture and effective communication across all levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Manager in a mass consumption industry or similar.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Advanced Excel skills (reporting, dashboards, data analysis).
- Proven ability to lead and develop large teams.
- Certified or experienced as an auditor in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 45001 systems.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and social security regulations in Nicaragua.
- Availability to travel or live outside Managua supporting operations.
