Senior Software Engineer (Google3 stack) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer, you will work within Google's extensive monorepo environment. Your role involves developing and maintaining robust systems using Google's advanced infrastructure tools like Blaze/Bazel, Piper, and Borg. Your responsibilities include making architectural decisions and integrating the latest technologies to ensure efficient and scalable application development.

What you will do:

- Oversee complex systems' design, development, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements within the Google3 ecosystem.
- Make strategic decisions regarding system architecture, performance optimization, and technical issue resolution.
- Champion best practices in code quality, architectural design, and maintainability within the monorepo environment.
- Drive innovation by integrating new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies from the Google3 toolset.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionalities.

Here is what we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, working the stack Google3.
- Deep understanding of Google's development and deployment tools, including Blaze/Bazel, Piper (Client in the Cloud), Code Search, Borg, and related CI/CD practices.
- Strong expertise in code quality, unit testing, integration testing, and maintaining high code coverage.
- Demonstrated ability to make informed technical decisions and apply the best approach for - each use case.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and best practices.
- Advanced level of English.
