Job Mission:

A Labor Planner is a systematic and independent analyst of the production labor force. He/She needs to determine the appropriate number of personnel required to carry out the production activities as budgeted to cover the yearly production forecast in an economic manner. Lead process improvement projects in Fulfillment operations to increase productivity, improve effectiveness and create sustainable cultural change.


Job Description:

1. Prepare the global labor plan for the year to be budgeted.
2. Monthly analysis of harvester’s workload to monitor adherence to budget.
3. Weekly analysis of operational efficiencies in production.
4. Record KPI and historic data related to labor efficiency.
5. Provide feedback to the Crop Growers about labor efficiency of labor staff.
6. Analyze the workload assignation per greenhouse for the activities to be carried out to develop the weekly work plan including harvest and harvest distribution.
7. Daily monitoring of harvest through cut offs at least every break to adjust plan as per needs.
8. Analyze labor planning registration data to provide feedback to Crop Growers and to improve labor efficiencies.

Job Requirements:

1. University degree in Statistics, Math, Industrial or Internal Logistics Engineer.
2. Minimum experience of 1 to 2 years in similar positions.
3. Agronomy/Horticulture knowledge or experience is a plus
4. Experience in resources, labor and materials planning
5. Presentation and Formal Communication
6. Process Diagraming and Documentation
7. Bilingual Spanish – English
8. High communication skills
9. Detail Oriented
