SUMMARY: Responsible for front-line TMW order creation and adding accessorial charges based on Freight Services input.

Create orders with the requirements received from customer/Freight Services, selecting the master order with financial fields, making sure to register the rate and profit.
Receive request for inland moves, verify to have all information needed to execute the service (type of movement, equipment type, routes, and additional services, bill to party, documents requirements). In case missing information, request it to provide a timely reply.
Support internal / external customers on inland service to anticipate any problem in documents or in transit.
Validate profitability of each movement, making sure it accomplishes defined margins.
Maintain communication with customers to review projections and promote our services.
Ensure with operation department has the resources to provide the service on the date specified by the customer or reschedule if necessary and provide data of the carrier to the customer.
Coordinate additional services requested by the customer with our internal and external vendors in timely manner, to ensure that costs are registered in the order as well customer billable charges.
Follow up with the departments responsible to ensure that the orders are completed and invoiced in a period no longer than 72 hours after delivery of the cargo to destination.
Prepare and submit report (KPI) to internal customers according to requirements.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation or a related field; or a combination of post high school education and experience.

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in the commercial trucking or maritime industry. Preference given to candidates with trucking transportation.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel. Proficient in transportation management systems preferred.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to work with a remote manager. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and recommend alternatives. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management. Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related professional/company standards as well as applicable federal, state and/or local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. Must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
