The function of the Field Engineer is to act as the mobile field service engineer on assigned open tickets and work in collaboration with senior engineering staff members, Response Center, and logistics to resolve customer affecting technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction. The Field Service Engineer must be trained on multi-modalities such as x-ray, mammography, CT, MRI, Chillers, Fluoroscopy, ultrasound and other radiology equipment or where applicable.

Essential Functions:
* The Field Engineer installs, troubleshoots and maintains an extensive variety of products and equipment
* Identifies, analyze, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
* Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers’ needs.
* Promote the sale of accessories and supplies for Biomedical Enterprises Trinidad & Tobago’s install base.
* Initiates troubleshooting on equipment before the arrival of external parties to grasp complete understanding of problem and provides support where necessary.
* Ability to manage small tasks and projects
* Lead the planning of Projects related to installations
* Develop strategies for service sales
* Customer visits to all local customers
