We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager with a
proven track record working with software delivery teams, and be an expert in
Agile delivery techniques.
The ideal candidate will have strong BA experience as well as having worked
closely with Development teams, acted as Scrum Master, and able to analyse
and explain issues from both a technical and a business point of view.
Responsibilities:
- Works with business partners to align technology solutions with business
strategies, and to identify business functional and business process
requirements.
- Translates business requirements into functional specifications, as well as
manages changes to such specifications.
- Develops user stories and tasks while participating on Agile teams
- Facilitate communications between IT and other cross functional groups
within the organization.
- Lead Scrum sessions, events / ceremonies
- Functions as a subject matter, process, and operational expert to conduct
demos and/or end-user training
- Collaborates with developers/testers to ensure requirements are understood
and test plans are complete; ensures traceability of testing to requirements
- Facilitate end user / user acceptance testing
- Provides insights into maturing the Business Analyst practices at Regis
- Understands, supports and drives improvement in existing systems
Qualifications:
- Conversational english.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related
field, OR equivalent work experience is a plus.
- 3-5 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Experience with agile (Scrum and Kanban) and tools such as TFS or JIRA to
manage a backlog and provide visibility on progress
- Must be adaptable, and able to deal with some ambiguity as well as managing
changes of priorities and schedules
- Brings a positive, confident, upbeat energy to the team.

- Must be self-motivated with a strong desire and initiative to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Experience effectively facilitating and leading meetings
- Experience determining and documenting comprehensive user requirements
using a wide variety of techniques (e.g. Business Requirements Analysis, Use
Case Design, Technical Specification Analysis & High-Level Design)
- Understanding of Quality Assurance, Project Management and SDLC
methodology (e.g. Iterative, Waterfall, Agile) principles
- Experience in developing process models and flows, and activity diagram
- Experience in working with customized packaged applications
