Job

Under limited supervision, performs a broad range of more complex accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records. Assigns transaction codes to documents. Assures documents being processed are included in the appropriate accounting period and process payments on a weekly basis based on tariff signed with vendors. Posts, balances, and closes ledgers. Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents; makes adjustments. May communicate with internal and/or external customers. Responsible on preparin cash flows, responsible on bank account balances, responsible on preparin cash application reports on time in order to have updated aging balances, bringing tax support to the accounting team and reponsible of documents file: checks, invoices, credit and bebit notes among others functiones related to its position.

Required Experience

3 - 5 years of general accounting and related financial experience. Proficient in the use of PC, especially Microsoft Office and mainframe accounting systems.

Required Education

Candidate have to be studying at least the final year of Finance and Accounting degree with demonstrable knowledge in the Nicaragua tax laws, fiscal and municipality. Intermediate english level.
