The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management in supporting designated tasks such as employee relations, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, corrective action and employment law compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
• Prepares and maintains employee-employer documentation, employees’ performance evaluation and salary structure systems.
• Prepare contracts for new hires and ensures labor law compliance.
• Coordinates employees’ learning and development courses thru INATEC.
• Participation, development and execution of the induction process and new hires procedures.
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintains key Human Resources metrics and analytics.
• Provides assistance in the administration of the compensation program; monitors the market’s compensation and benefits program to ensure the company’s competitiveness.
• Handles employee relations, counseling, and exit interviewing.
• Controls all employee movements – transfers, promotions, etc. – and employees’ accrued vacations, 13th month and seniority.
• Compiles, controls and verifies all the information for payroll.
• Administers salaries, commissions and employees’ benefits package.
• Provides support in the development of Compensation Policies and employee benefits.
• Facilitates Labor Law Inspections initiated by MITRAB or INSS.
