As Data Analytics Manager supporting operations in Nicaragua, your task will be to manage our Ops Data Analytics and department, which supports our Operations teams in Managua. To be successful in this role, the candidate would need to effectively communicate and partner with stakeholders across different levels to enable the swift and accurate gathering of requirements, that should translate to less iterations on desired outputs. This position is based in Managua, Nicaragua.
Job Requirements:
Ops Data Analytics
• Lead and manage our ops data analytics team and provide the appropriate guidance and development for each
• Drive strategic initiatives that will help operations and the business manage and continuously improve the processes within and ultimately our product
• Lead the ideation, creation and launch of KPIs used to drive operational excellence
• Define, retrieve, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and other technologies to drive and define operational solutions and approaches
• Translate complex data into information that can be easily consumed by leadership to support business decisions
• Serve as the primary owner of operational data, ensuring its validity, integrity and accuracy
• Support capacity planning and headcount requirements through analytical modeling
• Support the Nicaragua Site Leader and cross-functional teams with ad hoc day-to-day queries, specific data requests and general data analysis
• Support project efforts with data requirements to help ensure successful product launches
• Work and communicate effectively with internal teams such as Marketing, Compliance, Fraud Product, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering and Operations – as well as external teams such as a BPO
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or analytical field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or related field)
• Must have 5 years + of relevant experience
• Experience in managing data analytics, workforce, capacity analysis, scheduling and reporting team.
• Advanced experience in Excel (Macros and VBA scripting)
• Experience in extracting and transforming data from source systems to data analytics platform(s) and reports
• Experience in conceptualising, designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting capacity and workforce initiatives of internal or external stakeholders
• Experience in analysing different types of data to support business needs and present the results in concise visualisation formats
• Has an inquisitive mind and proactivity to challenge the norms constructively
• Detail oriented, independent and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (technical or MBA) or equivalent work experience is an advantage
• Experience with SQL Databases is an advantage
• Experience leading or supporting structured process improvement efforts
• Knowledge of the financial services or payments industry
