Summary/Objective:

The Data Services and Application Support Manager manages the software development strategy, budgeting, resourcing, planning and delivery of software applications, services, production support and project implementation in order to maximize the benefit of systems across the business. Drives business and IT engagement through team building, technical expertise and by working closely with business partners to identify, prioritize, and define telemedicine, POS and other software solutions. Develop and lead a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives. Responsible for bringing new and innovative software solutions and advancing the modernization of our software platforms in alignment with our core business objectives and technical architecture.

Responsibilities:

Owns and leads all proprietary developed systems including POS(Zeus), Telehealth and other software development, measures results and initiates personnel actions as required.

Leads and manages production support teams in providing quality and effective services to both internal and external customers

Leads telemedicine QA Flow Specialist and all training and testing functions.

Drives the delivery of successful telemedicine systems across multiple teams to deliver quality care for our patients.

Ensures overall telemedicine technical standards and procedures are followed.

Ensure POS(Zeus) is performing from a practical standpoint, functionalist, look and feel, and effectively for our field teams.

Facilitate open and effective communication between the development team, Offshore team, the business, and external customers.

Works cross functionally with other departments and technical stakeholders to assess feasibility, prioritize projects, and develop and implement plans that address requirements and adhere to established strategic business objectives and systems standards.

Serves as an overall owner and leader for all operational systems.

Lead a team of software professionals, provide guidance and support to Agile scrum masters and team managers.

Participates in the software solution planning, and oversees the implementation of strategies aligned to the functional area

Drive the successful delivery of software projects in an Agile/Scrum environment across multiple teams.

Ensures overall program management integrity through internal communication of program requirements.

Provides technical leadership for the design, development, deployment, and operation of IT programs and services.

Ensures appropriate technical standards and procedures are followed.

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in information systems or related discipline

Required 5 years of experience in Information Systems

Required 4 years of experience in Application Development and postproduction support

Required 2 years of management experience

Managing re-engineering and implementation project skills

Skills/ Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of Azure Devops.

Experience in managing software development workloads and projects in the Jira Management system.

Strong background in software design and development experience, including experience in integrations using APIs, Devops and Azure Solutions

Strong background in waterfall and agile software development methodologies

Sound understanding of application architecture principles and techniques.

Documenting service levels, implementation progress reports, and outcomes

Good organizational and time management skills

Cross functional leadership ability

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong negotiation skills are key to the success of this role

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing quick turnaround timelines

Ability to take direction and make decisions to collaborate and work independently
