Known as pattern master, who looks into pattern making, garment fit aspects etc. A garment technician has a set of roles and responsibilities in a factory and in a buying office

Responsibilities:
Pattern making: Make patterns on pattern paper based on style specification sheet
Pattern grading: Grading is making patterns from one size to another size by increasing and decreasing measurements in certain points of the patterns.
Able to work with factory team on garments construction and sewing improvements needed in factory for bulk production
Garment technical knowledge- from sample making to bulk construction on non-basic product with focus on synthetic knit tops and bottoms; denim and woven bottoms
Work well with vendors in DR, Haiti, Guatemala and Nicaragua to execute the brand product needs
Work with garment technicians from multiply brands on multiple styles concurrently

Requirements:
5 years experience in garment construction, apparel and textile.
Fluency in Spanish and English Language
Experience working with fabric consumption calculation
Able to work with factory to evolve the sewing capability of the workers from basic styles to more, elevated full styles including but not limited to pants, full zip hoodies, fashion knits tops and bottoms.
