Position Purpose:
This person contributes to success by providing first line customer service support to end-user customers, retailers and Sales Support Staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Answers high volume customer service inquiries via phone calls.
• Assists customers with items such as refunds, product information, machine locations, and sales, promotions or technical inquiries
• Documents and tracks emails/chats/phones in LOB ticketing system
• Manage time effectively and works effectively with other members of the team
• Meets Key Performance indicators and adheres to all company values
• Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors treat all customers with the utmost respect and professionalism
• Assists with off phone activities such as emails, check requests and data entry
• Performs as a Point of Contact in absence of Leadership
• Assists Leadership with coaching and mentoring of customer service representatives
• Performs Help Desk functions as scheduled – coaching and guiding fellow associates in providing best solution for customer inquiry
• Troubleshoots and resolves customer complaints
• Interfaces with inter-company resources to resolve customer requests
• Maintains a good working knowledge to the company’s products and technologies
• Perform other duties assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• High School Degree or GED
• Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service related position or call center
• Excellent customer service skills (ability to provide service with empathy and confidence)
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high volume environment (ability to handle multiple chats at one time)
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, and typing skills 40 WPM)
• Excellent written communication skills and keen attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Requires ability to navigate multiple computer programs or relevant applications
