The Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Director and will support the execution of the marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
• Provides support to marketing department in data reporting, vendor management and copywriting
• Implements marketing campaigns in various communication platforms
• Creates posts on social media sites; assists with website developments & maintenance
• Supports daily marketing operations by compiling & formatting different materials
• Drafts different communication materials (e.g. marketing collateral, newsletters sent to staff and customers, weekly editorial PR pieces and blog posts)
• Updates and maintains the marketing department's documentation and databases.
• Research content for each topic and create content outline
• Prepare, schedule, and post approved content for multiple sites and social networks
• Manage & update the content calendar
• Liaise with operations to get customer stories and validate content
• Use appropriate style and tone for the development of whitepapers, infographics, and testimonial
• Draft and post approved responses for online reviews
• Basic photo editing and manipulation and file management
• Perform website and social media audits and page management
• Broadcast new content in social media accounts
• Research social media partnerships & alliances to obtain the most mentions
• Work on audience development and increase of fan base
• Tracks affiliate marketing partners’ performance
• Expected to fulfill additional duties as assigned and Assist Marketing Director with any departmental needs
Skills/Qualifications
• 4-year college degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or related area.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficient English is required
• Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
• Computer expertise includes: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with social media sites - LinkedIn; Facebook; Twitter; Google +, etc.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills

Compensation:
