The Front Office is the face of Rancho Santana. Generally speaking, this department is the "nerve center" of the entire operation of Rancho Santana Vacation Rentals and non-RSVR guests, as all transactions pass through within or through this department. The Front Desk is primarily responsible for checking in guests and RSVR owners when they arrive, taking care of requests during their stay, and checking out guest/owners when they depart, as well as being knowledgeable and friendly ambassadors of the Ranch. The Front Office Department aims to provide a personalized and consistent experience that exceeds every guest's expectations, creates long-term relationships, and generates future business. This position reports to the Front Desk Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities
? Guest Relations
o Ensure guest satisfaction through excellence in service.
o Be the face of the Front Office and welcome guests by greeting them always offering assistance.
o Resolve minor complaints, problem-solve disturbances, tend to any special requests or other issues that may arise in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high-level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
o Greet, check-in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed.
o Understand room status and room status tracking, and know all room/properties’ locations, types of rooms/properties available, and room/properties’ rates.
o Expert on Ranch activities and services including but not limited to pricing, location and experience.
o Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department.
o Perform cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, currency exchange, etc.
o Know all safety and emergency procedures, is aware of accident prevention policies.
o Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.

Skills & Requirements
? Team player and collaborative spirit. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and contribute an energetic and positive attitude to the Front Office.
? Fluency in English and Spanish communication and grammar, both written and oral.
? Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new programs quickly.
? Ability to exercise good judgment with all situations as they arise.
? Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
? Proactive and outside-of-the-box thinking toward the unique situations that are encountered.
? Ability to multi-task, work effectively and keep calm under the pressures of working at a world-class resort.
? Extreme attention to detail.
? Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ability to learn new programs quickly. Experience in hospitality software preferred.
? Have a flexible weekly work schedule of 5 days a week, 40 - 48 hours a week. Varies according to the department’s needs.
