Summary:
This position will be responsible for direct sales of antenna space and equipment installation on SBA owned tower sites to wireless carrier prospects within the specified territory. The territory for this role will be Nicaragua. This position will also be incented to find new locations for SBA to build towers on that have anchor tenants/carriers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identifies wireless carrier contacts and business opportunities through research, phone calls, meetings, and presentations.
• Generates sales and marketing of SBA’s sites to carriers and local zoning jurisdictions within territory.
• Gathers carrier and market information to be utilized in pricing, build out analysis and to determine feasibility of lease up on current inventory and in helping decide where new towers should be built.
• Performs the processing and tracking of lease applications through our internal approval process.
• Sells installation services to new tenants where install is not mandated in ASA (Antenna Site Agreement).
• Coordinates with the local SBA office and SBA corporate to track and ensure the delivery of site information packages to maintain our high level of customer service.
• Performs account administration, ongoing management of tenant relationships, assistance with marketing, and general sales support.
• Identifies tenant equipment variances and proactively works with tenant to resolve as quickly as possible
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
• BA/BS required or equivalent business experience.
• 3+ years of related industry and outside sales or business development experience (basic knowledge of wireless site development, construction, and co-location).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills a must.
• Must demonstrate intermediate knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet navigation and e-mail usage required.
• Periodic travel required.
