Job Title: Paralegal
Department: International, Nicaragua
Reports To: Real Estate Acquisition Supervisor Latin America

Summary:
Provide overall legal support in the processing of lease and title documents and the tracking / reporting the status of these documents; as well as other duties, as described below:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Travel to the different municipalities and public registries to work on the subdivision processes, survey approvals, registration of agreements, etc.
• Preparation of testimonies, for registration of contracts.
• Preparation of special testimonies of deeds.
• Calculate fees for registration of ground leases.
• Deliver of redlines for review at different government’s offices.
• Support on Suppletory Titles.
• Deliver and pick up legal documents with the clients.
• Others

Education and/or Experience:
• 1 or 2 years of experience in legal duties
• Law student, 3rd year at least
• Knowledge of administrative procedures in Government’s offices
• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic English knowledge preferable.

Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common legal documents.
